Statement

We live in uncertain times.

In truth, we have always lived in uncertain times.  We are not, however, forced to meet this reality with fear; rather, it can be our reason for being here today and for being here tomorrow.  Where there is change, there is chance ... for disassembly, inward-looking, questioning, and re-imagining.  There is reason to keep hope simply because, so long as the world is in flux, we might get better.

In my work, I look for the possible sources of the Next. In which dim corner or sleep-interrupted dream might we realize things are not exactly as they seem or even as we know them to be? With open minds and available ears, we can move forward into the uncertainty, hopeful about the change to discover and ready to take what comes.

I am intensely optimistic about our futures.
